Bethesda, MD – February 10, 2022 – Panum Group, LLC (Panum) is pleased to announce the promotion of Simiso ‘Simi’ Kabo as VP, Finance and Administration for Panum, a fast-growing, leading federal contractor that provides management consulting, technology services and professional services.

Simi served as Corporate Controller and advisor to the President, Executive Team, and Board on all financial matters. Apart from being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he is an expert in forensic accounting and corporate investigations, indirect rate preparation, and analysis, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audits, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliance reviews.

In his new role, he will be providing leadership and strategy on all back-office operations (financial services & Human capital functions) for Panum & its subsidiary, Marton. This promotion recognizes the contributions Simi has made during his tenure with Panum. Prior to joining Panum, Simi worked at FTI Consulting, Inc. (“FTI”) where he served as a Senior Director.

Simi is a CPA/CFF, CMA, PMP, CGMA, and CFE. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Management Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Project Management Institute- Washington DC Chapter.
