Panum Awarded a BPA to support USDA FNS SNAP with Technical Assistance Support Services
Bethesda, MD — September 20, 2021 — Panum Group, LLC (Panum) announced it has been awarded a five-year blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to assist USDA, Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) with technical assistance support services related to all aspects of the SNAP Online Purchasing Pilot (OPP), mobile payments pilot, Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) system and regulation modernization, State EBT system conversions, and EBT management evaluations to support effective and efficient program administration, improve program integrity, and enhance SNAP customer experience.SNAP is the cornerstone of the Federal nutrition assistance safety net, serving as the first line of defense against hunger. SNAP provides nutrition assistance benefits via electronic debit cards to millions of low-income people to supplement their food budgets so they can purchase more healthy food.
