Panum Group, LLC (Panum) Hires a Seasoned Executive with Over 25 Years of Federal Growth and Delivery Experience
Bethesda, MD — January 31, 2020 — Panum Group, LLC (Panum), a fast-growing, leading professional services organization that provides program management, mission and acquisition support to Federal Government agencies, announced in January that it has hired Christopher James as the Director of its Homeland Security Business Unit to lead strategic growth efforts and service delivery.
Over the last eight years, Christopher has served as a Portfolio/Program Manager with direct responsibility and accountability of IT operations and contract staff for several contracts at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of State (DOS), Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). He has in-depth knowledge of DHS acquisition strategies and frequently used contracting vehicles, as well as customer relationships that enabled other federal contractors to expand their reach within DHS. At Panum, Christopher will work on service delivery and growth to deliver measurable improvements and efficiencies to its DHS clients. He will lead Panum’s Homeland Security Business Unit and contribute to the expansion of its Homeland Security customers. Panum has experienced rapid growth in the last three years, transforming from a Small Business to a Large Business with more than 650 personnel as a result of new contract awards and the acquisition of Marton Technologies, Inc.

Christopher is a certified PMP and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) manger with over 25 years of Operations and Program Management experience. He is a retired veteran of the US Air Force and holds a Bachelor of Science in Management/Computer Information Systems and Human Resources from Park University. Christopher’s areas of expertise include establishing work schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, communicating policies, enforcing work standards and leading quality control efforts for Governance, IT Security Support Services and Configuration Management to deliver exceptional results for federal clients.
