Panum wins a contract to assist USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion (CNPP) with Health, Nutrition and Research support services for 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans (DGA)
Bethesda, MD – [September 28, 2019] – Panum Group, LLC (Panum) announced it has been awarded a three-year single-award task order to support the USDA FNS, CNPP in providing management and Subject Matter Expert (SME) services for several projects including the delivery of the 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans (DGA) Policy Document and related campaign materials in preparation for the launch of the 9th edition of the DGA.
Panum Vice President, Federal Civilian Mr. Syed Jaffery said, “Panum subject matter experts possess the crucial experience and expertise essential in successfully supporting the USDA and its mission for the delivery of the 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans.”
Panum will also provide consumer research to test targeted consumer understanding and potential adoption of concepts for the 2020-2025 DGAs. Audiences include the general American consumer, low-income adults, pregnant women, women who are breast feeding, and caregivers of newborns through age 2. Additionally, consumer research on the ChooseMyPlate icon and potential revisions to the icon will be examined, studied and applied. Our Subject Matter Experts will develop educational materials to help Americans put the 2020-2025 DGA’s into action.
