Panum Wins a Contract to Provide Grants Management Support for USDA
Bethesda, MD — November 17, 2020 — Panum Group, LLC (Panum) announced it has been awarded a contract to support USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) with comprehensive Grants Management (GM) support for both competitive and non-competitive grants.
Panum will provide mission expertise on navigating all aspects of the GM process, including reviewing potential grantee recipients, ensuring that all necessary documentation is correct, and administering a combined 11,000+ yearly post-award requests. Additionally, our team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) aids in the closeout process by documenting and reviewing Final Financial Reports to ensure that all grant requirements have been fulfilled.
Our SMEs’ years of experience and expertise in all aspects of the GM process make them an invaluable aid to USDA NIFA as the organization undergoes several modernization efforts. Some of these changes include the shift of USDA NIFA’s HQ from Washington, D.C. to Kansas City, MO, the introduction of new standard operating procedures for the GM process, and the implementation of new technology and software. Panum’s careful planning, execution, and highly trained staff reduces the risks associated with transitions for our customers.
Panum’s focus on continuous process improvement will help USDA NIFA enhance operational and mission effectiveness, improve information security, and implement new ways to access, analyze, and disseminate GM-related information across the Awards Management Division (AMD).
