Panum Donates $24,900 to COVID-19 Relief Efforts
Bethesda, MD — May 12, 2020 — Panum Group, LLC (Panum) is engaged! Panum employees and its Angel Foundation, AmArican-Indus Corp (AIC), a non-profit, 501C(3) foundation, participated in COVID-19 relief efforts by contributing $24,900 to non-profit organizations.
Panum donated $8,300 to We Are Family DC, a Senior Outreach Network Organization. Our contribution will provide 675 bags of groceries to be delivered to Inner-City Seniors in Washington DC who are restricted from traveling due to COVID-19. Additionally, we have donated $16,600 to the National Direct Relief Organization to aid in purchasing Personal Protective Equipment gear for the healthcare heroes on the frontline supporting our communities to fight COVID-19.
These efforts are part of Panum’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort, Panum Cares (PCare). With PCare, we established a set of sustainable CSR initiatives to facilitate a three-pronged approach enabling employees to have a positive impact in the communities we live in. These initiatives include participating in philanthropic, environmental, and volunteer efforts within our communities.
Panum employees wanted to help with the COVID crisis and decided to pick the above two efforts. In addition, several employees volunteered their personal time to distribute the grocery bags in the DC area. We realize by setting the right example, we can inspire our employees and other organizations to join in the effort and do their part when it comes to social and environmental responsibility.
