Panum Group offers its regular employees the following standard benefits:

 

· Paid Vacation/Sick Leave

· Paid Holidays: 10 Federal Holidays per year

· A new Medical/Dental Insurance Benefit Policy is in effect from 5/1/09. Three options are offered: (1) A Base Plan - Health Savings Plan, (2) Option 1– an HMO Plan and (3) Option 2 - an HMO with Opt-out Open.  For details, please see http://panum.com/intranet/Panum_Health_Benefit_Details_2009.pdf

· For employees only, there is a nominal employee co-payment deducted from the participating employees’ biweekly paychecks. An employee may also sign up for medical/dental insurance for dependents. However, the employee is responsible for a large component of the dependent-insurance premiums. By signing up for employee/dependent insurance, the employee authorizes Panum Group to withhold applicable insurance premium from employee’s biweekly paychecks. To enroll, please select an option and complete the applicable form.

· Effective 5/1/09, a new a long-term disability (LTD), a short-term disability (STD) and  life & accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) policy is in effect for all employees at no cost to them. For additional details, please refer to Life_Disability_Benefits.

· Payroll:

· Paychecks are issued every other Friday for the 2-week pay period ending the previous Fri. The weekly timesheet should be completed and submitted by the close of business every Friday to benefits@panum.com.

· Panum Group offers a direct deposit of the paycheck into an employee’s single bank account. To avail this benefit, please compete and email/fax the enrollment form to 301-299-4216/benefits@panum.com. Please note that the timesheets may need to be submitted early to avoid the  impact of bank holidays.

· 401K Retirement Plan with Company Matching (effective July 15, 2008)

· An educational/training benefit up to a maximum of $2,000/year is available to each employee provided, however, the education/training is beneficial to the employee, the company and Panum Group’s customer. The education/training must be approved by an employee’s supervisor, the company and the customer before an employee can use this benefit.
