Ms. Sujata Gupta is the founder, CEO and Managing Member of Panum Group, LLC (Panum) since January 1998 where she has the day-to-day responsibility
for the strategic direction and overall administration, and finance and accounting functions of the Company. Prior to founding Panum in 1997, she
was the Controller of ECTel (and its predecessor CTel), a NASDAQ-listed public company (Symbol: ECTX) where she held several management positions
with progressively higher responsibility starting in 1984. She has a MS (History) and a BS (History, Economics and English) from Delhi University,
India.
Sr. IT SME –Dr. Vaikunth Gupta , PhD Dr. Vaikunth N. Gupta is a General Partner of Panum Group, a Management Consulting company he had co-founded in 1997.
Panum’s key activities include broadband technologies – optical, wireless, wire line and the associated software management systems – and business development
with special focus on the Federal space. He managed the performance-based acquisition (PBA) support for recompeting the IT Infrastructure Support services
Contract at USDA-FNS. He is instrumental in converting a small 6-figure opportunity into a mid 7-figure blanket purchase agreement to support all future USDA-FNS
acquisition using PBA. He provided leadership and expertise for the acquisition support for the modernization of Loan Management and Accounting System (LMAS) at
Small Business Administration (SBA), with emphasis on technology trends, business vision and government IT regulation compliance. During his business career,
Dr. Gupta has developed key business relationships in both national and international IT/Telecom/Commercial/Regulatory markets. He has over 20 years of experience
in senior executive positions involving several financial transactions with high IRR, product conceptualization, research and development, marketing and sales and
executive management. Dr. Gupta was a Finalist for Ernst and Young’s ‘Entrepreneur’ of the Year’ Award for 2001. Dr. Gupta is a Chartered Member of the Indian
High-Tech CEO Council, served on FCC’s NRIC Packet Council and was one of the original founding Board members of the Maryland High Technology Council. He holds a
Ph.D. from University of Kentucky and has served as an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University. Dr. Gupta is an Advisor/Board member to numerous high tech,
start-up companies.
